  • Pye and Ash form The Slamheads in St. Johns, AZ
  • First song ("The Whopper Song") written, recorded on video tape

  • First recordings on audio tape: untitled EP featuring "The Slamhead Song", "Jeri's Heart", and cover of "White Christmas", among others (recordings were lost in 1988)

  • Kev joins the band
