I WONDER

I wonder if we're sure
Our actions will secure
Health and safety that's assured
It's a rough ride to endure

I wonder when this will end
How much longer can this extend
When my concerts I can attend
And with the masses we can blend

I wonder if I'll retire
Before my live pulses expire
My savings are afire
While gleeful greedies dance round the pyre 

I wonder how one man is to blame
For something global, that can't be contained
When woe divides us and our tempers aren't tamed
My faith in mankind goes up in flames

I wonder what comes first
A cure to this world-wide curse 
Or, could it be,
The promised album by The Cure
