COLD INSIDE

Static me
At thirty-three
My musings run cold
I'm growing old
Constant worries replace contemplation
I watch C-SPAN to find relaxtation
I've changed
I feel cold inside

Epic me
My ego's free
I looked for a change
My life rearranged
Now it feels like there's something that's missing
Since I threw out the things that were pressing
I'm scared
And I feel cold inside

Change left me cold inside
