Your Painted Desert Face

Your eyes-shadow is as bright
As them blue-hills glowing in tonight’s moonlight
And I swore I ain’t never seen no one like you before
Your face a canvass beaming in the night

Your eyes wear blush
your cheeks wear rouge
If color is water
your face is deluge

Your painted desert face
Has made nature a disgrace
But then
Nature’s never looked this good before
